Living Sacrifice Ministries

Serving Him through Serving Others

Living Sacrifice Ministries was founded when I was convicted by God after realizing that like many Christians, it had become too easy for me to simply go through the motions of living a "Christian" life without ever truly sacrificing anything. I could attend worship service, even Bible study, and read my Bible, but never give anything up that I didn't want to. It was easy to make it all fit into my little world, my schedule, and my budget. Paul writes to the Roman church in Romans 12:1, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service". This strikes me as something that is not to be taken lightly. present my body that means live it, not just think it. A living sacrifice which means that with each day, I need to be looking at the things that I have, be they money, time, talents, knowledge, and give them to the point that I may actually have to do without something. Does this mean that I give up that extra cup of coffee so that I can feed a hungry person? Do I give money to missions instead of buy a new computer program? How about turning off my TV and helping the widow across the street by raking her leaves or mowing her lawn?
When I set out to establish this ministry, I thought it would be as simple as getting this message out, until I partnered with the saints of the churches in developing countries whose lives have been this way for years. Pastors who walk 5-10 miles a day to get to church. People who share one Bible for Bible study, and must go to an internet cafe' in the next town to check email or print of Bible study lessons.
Through this partnership, Living Sacrifice Ministries, as it now exists, was formed. Please enjoy what has been put on the pages here, sign up for updates, and visit often. We are a ministry that is growing constantly. Just this week we entered into Liberia, Ethiopia, and the Philippines.
Thank you for visiting. Please sign in and complete a profile so that we know who has visited. God bless you and let us know if we can partner with you in prayer.

As we grow in the breadth of our mission, and the number of nations we are able to take materials to, our staff of local pastors within our ranks will grow. Already people are in place in the nation of India, Haiti, and elsewhere for when we have funds to go there.

It has been some time since my last video post and while this one is short, I pray that what it lacks in length it makes up for in content. The topic, "God's Grace", is the message of the entire Bible and the central theme of the true Christian church.
