After fourteen years of civil war, Liberia has had a decade of relative peace, but this past year has shown an epidemic of Ebola which has shaken the nation in ways nobody could have predicted. With the people already lacking faith in the authorities who had been and even now were in power, the task of church leaders such as Roosevelt Weah of Gospel Outreach Ministry became even more challenging. Like many of the early first century church leaders, Pastor Roosevelt is a simple man, a farmer. Called to preach God's Word to the unreached, and to be a shepherd to those under his care, the resources coming to Gospel Outreach have been minimal, particularly in this year of turmoil when so many have fought to simply stay alive.
Even in the midst of this, faith has sustained the saints, and they have forged through to begin work on new building projects to house, teach, and grow the ministry.
The work is far from complete, and the resources far from paid for. At Living Sacrifice Ministries we ask that you partner with us in prayer, and if possible, contact Pastor Roosevelt to see how else you might be able to partner with them, be it financially, with a gift of materials, or other needs they have. He may be reached via email at [email protected], or by phone at 231880778667 or 231 777083503.
